173: A Bond Of Trust

And here is Episode 173 too.


Here Notipe, the Namekian Villager, has helped Gohan and Videl with recovering from their Kaio-ken induced sparring session, after which Gohan explains to him why he is willingly sharing the story of his life to Videl and vice versa.

The title of this episode is the subject of the flashback seen here (the dialogue was, ironically enough, inspired from a Gohan/Videl hentai I came across some time ago, silly me ), where Videl trusts Gohan enough to tell him what is bothering her without being laughed at, while Gohan on his turn gives a truthful answer, showing that he trusts Videl enough to let her know what he thinks of it. While it does cement their love, it also cements a bond of trust, indicating that they simply want to be open with their relationship; meaning that there will be no secrets between each other and, if certain things are a bit confusing or unclear, they will explain it to the other if they are ready enough for it to prevent being bombarded with one bombshell after the other.

I've also tried to add a little emotional effect here as seen during the flashback. I honestly like the way it came out.
