The 131th episode of my animation series.
Dude and Tish are attacked by the Empire's Army, The Emperor himself finds out who attacked and destroyed his private collection of weapons, and Gohan explains to Lenn how he motivated Videl to keep training.
With this episode and the next one, I fully intend to explain my personal idea of Videl being trained more by Gohan. I freely admit that I do love the Gohan/Videl pairing itself, but that's NOT the point. The point is that I simply have thought up of a possible AND plausible explanation of why I let Gohan train Videl more in my series up to the point of letting Gohan teach Videl the Masenko and Kamehameha Wave. Every fighter may come across a point where he or she severely doubts his/her ability to fight and protect and all if something bad happens to him/her. Gohan had similar problems like that while he trained with his father in the Time Chamber, while the rage directed at himself because of his own fears caused him to become a Super Saiyan. I just felt to make a similar situation here; Videl could overcome all the problems she encountered regarding the criminals, but Spopovich (and Majin Buu for that matter) were way beyond her league, so Gohan tries to convince Videl to remain focused and believe in herself as it kept him going as well, despite his own shortcomings.
If anyone is familiar with TV Tropes, I personally feel that Gohan fits the role of Understanding Boyfriend ([link]
) because of Videl being a crime fighter and all)
